Handmade Harvest – Starting April 22

Hands-on learning for backyard vegetable growers.
Join Cathy and Kaj Hansen at their farm in Ospringe for a season long in depth learning opportunity that will allow you to see and try out the organic gardening methods practiced by these experienced vegetable growers for the past 25 years.

How Does it Work?

Cathy and Kaj have years of knowledge gained from applying the principles of organic agriculture on their small farm as well as experience training and mentoring new farmers and enthusiastic gardeners alike.

Emily Hansen, Bachelor of Landscape Architecture& Permaculture Design Certificate holder, will also lend her knowledge of garden design and sustainable methods.

The program is designed for a small group of passionate growers who are looking for a hands on learning experience and have a desire to enjoy their own fresh, organically produced vegetables for years to come.

Each session will be 3 hours long and will include timely topics, lots of practical hands- on activities in their production garden and plenty of Q & A. Sessions will be held at both their garden and yours.

There are 6 group sessions scheduled over the spring and summer plus one session just for you, in your own garden, at a time of your choosing.
