The Hallowe’en merrymaking on October 31st was extraordinary!

A Hallowe’en party was held at the Community Hall before the children went Trick or Treating. Inside the hall was a myriad of games and crafts, music and food, kids and adults alike donned their favourite costumes and happily enjoyed the event.

The hamlet was alight with carved pumpkin faces, coloured lights and smoky home exteriors. Ghosts and goblins swayed through tree branches reaching out to those who dared to enter.

It was great fun for the children of Belfountain and hopefully the adults too.

As we did the walk about, it became very clear that many people went above and beyond to celebrate this ghoulish night. We would like to thank everyone for their wonderful pumpkin carvings and amazing decorated exteriors.

Prizes for 2019 Hallowe’en Decorating Contest go to:

The Spookiest House -Mark Heaton & Abigail Campbell

Creative Effort- Marcia and Greg Haywood

Most Creative Pumpkins- Ali and Jake Hurley

Thank you, Higher Ground Café, for supporting this spooky night. A big thank you also goes to the Community Organizers of this activity and the Town of Caledon.
