Three days ago there was a spill of hydraulic fluid near the West Credit River in Erin. The spill occurred near the northern tributary of the West Credit. Belfountain is located on the southern branch. We are looking for clarification from the MOECP regarding impact to our branch of the river. The BCO reported the spill to MOECP Tuesday evening. An investigator from the Guelph office was assigned to the case yesterday. We have been in contact with them daily. An update to the community will follow as soon as information becomes available to us.
