Upcoming Twilight Tours with CVC!

CVC’s Countryside Stewardship team is excited to announce its first ever Twilight Tour Series! Embark on a journey with us through the rural landscape of the Credit River Watershed.

We want to personally connect you with the struggles and successes of managing invasive plant species, the beneficial impacts of stream restoration, the beauty and importance of native pollinator-loving plants, and the value of agricultural cover crops. These outdoor events have been planned for rural landowners this summer, between July and September. Attend one or attend them all! We’re excited to get out on the landscape with you and share some of the great stewardship initiatives in your community.

The events will run rain or shine so please dress for the weather. Preference will be given to participants owning property within the Credit River Watershed. Others are welcome as space allows.

  1. Michael McDonald says:

Grew up in Norval and have enjoyed hiking through the Belfountain area since the late 60s. Hate to see drastic changes. Preservation of the entire Credit River system should be an upmost priority (plants, insects and wildlife only found in this region, Natural river direction and. Shorelines etc.)
Left only my footprints and took only photos.
