The Commissioner Public Works, Region of Peel has advised:
Over the past few days, we have received requests to look into options to curb parking as well as speeding in Belfountain. We have two things that we will put into place. One immediately, one as soon as possible.
- In alignment with the Town, beginning as early as today, we will implement the temporary no parking plan we use during “Fall Colours”.
- We typically install additional traffic calming measures in late April. As soon as we can assure ourselves that winter maintenance is over for the year, we will move to implement ASAP. Hopefully that will be sooner than a typical year.
If we need to adjust our approach we will work together to do so.
