COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER “PICK UP BELFOUNTAIN” THIS SATURDAY

The BCO has organised a Community Volunteer Ice Storm Pick-up Day this Saturday May 3, 2014.  Please meet at Belfountain Public School at 9 am if you are available to help. Bring your truck, trailer, chainsaw, safety equipment or just your brawn, and let’s pick up the neighbourhood.

Residents please put storm debris at the curb for Saturday morning. We won’t be able to spend time going back on people’s property.

The town is donating a truck which will spend a couple of hours on Caledon Mountain Drive to help that area get picked-up. We need volunteers to help there. There is also clean-up required on Pinnacle and Scott Streets, as well as Shaw’s Creek, Forester’s Park and Bush Street. There is plenty to do. The more volunteers we have the better-off we will all be.

If it rains, it rains…..at least the wood will be clean 🙂
