    Hello,

Today is Saturday the 16th of May. After two long months of this bunkered down crap, our hamlet opened its two coffee shops today. One on the north west corner of Mississauga rd and bush st, were the owner placed more seats outside already breaking what she is allowed. The others parking lot on the east side was jammed with motorcycles and 100 people all just milling around on this small parking lot.

I have a major question for you. WHY DID I MY WIFE AND OTHER PEOPLE STAY LOCKED UP FOR TO FREEKIN MONTHS. ALL THIS SO TWO PEOPLE IN A COMMUNITY THAT PROFITS OFF THE SANCTITY OF 300 PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR RIGHT to A PEACEFULL LIFE. How about sending out a camera tomorrow maybe around 1:30 or 3 pm.

    Thanks Wade

Well I can tell you, there was no social distancing going on in the Village of Belfountain today! The parking lot of the Higher Ground was jammed with motor cycles and people all close together. The lineups were not even close to social distancing for ice cream at the general store as if it was a normal summer day. How do we as residents protect ourselves from all the people who invade our space and not follow the rules? This is with No Parking in place just for the time being and the Park not open. What are our options? Our homes are hardly the social distancing of 6 ft from the road through the village and if no parking is taken away, we will be dealing with the masses of people parking on our lawns.

Tourism racing traffic Noise. Time to shut this hamlet down, or accept it’s loss. 5 and 6 Police cars and officers does not seem to be enough. They are nailing people good and I see towing almost every day. Yet they still keep coming, they have look outs parked on Mississauga rd. And McLaren that I have seen. Last evening May 7th there were 7 cars all making U TURN ON Busch street west of the general store. The garbage along the roads and the dumping is growing. It’s now uncontrollable. Installing road bumps is un acceptable as some of us work through the hamlet and towns and like to go for coffee and to visit Erin or other places, they are disruptive and aggravating ......just park and watch them sometimes, how people slow to cross over and speed up again and lay rubber once over. I have slowed to go over them and have been passed by cars and motorcycles. Why do several Hundred people have to live like this while only 3 people earn money from this. Them being two coffee shops and a park. To solve this problem I say. Shut down the park, Close both coffee shops, Ban parking on both side of all roads from the Grange north to forks, west to Shaw’s Creek and north Mississauga rd to Charleston. Cataract has no parking right through there village on both sides, we can’t? Close the forks at highway 10 and Miss rd. make it a Private road. Scrap the tourism commission! Is this radical yes very, that’s what the tourists have caused for themselves. On a weekend afternoon look at the cars on both sides of the street and ask yourself, “How would a Fire Truck or Ambulance get through this”
